 Hey guys!

Hope everyone is doing great, things around here have been good. At work we started to go back to work at the office but still keeping safe for everybody so we trying to keep it at 50% capacity now. But it feels nice to be working at the office and get the chance to talk with people around. For the past weeks I've been working rendering plans on InDesign and Photoshop, keep working on construction documents in CAD and this keep I joined a work session for handrawing tricks and tips with one of the principal , it was really great! 

On my las post, I mentioned that I will visit some of the spring festivals around here and I just had to say that it was fun but the best part of it was seen all the wildflowers aside the road and on the open fields. Here are some pictures of it.







I wish we have some of this wildflowers blooming everywhere in Louisiana too


Next month there will be a spring festival with sunflowers in San Antonio, can't wait to see it because I'm planning on going too!

    The wildflowers are amazing! You'll have to share some of those tips and tricks for hand drawing :)

Lately we've been working mostly on a couple of residential projects. One of them is for a local radio guy, which is pretty interesting. Part of the program is going to be an outdoor recording setup, so we need to deal with noise. I also got to put together a short video for the office Instagram of the concept process.   Other than the residential projects, we've also been redecorating the conference room. We're using professional photos taken after some big projects finished up and hanging them to showcase the office's work. We're doing it mostly DIY, and hanging them on these vertical mounts.

Austin Carbo - Design Workshop - Blog #7

Happy May y'all! Not too much has changed since my last post, but there are a few interesting things.  Work:  The project Bosshard Ranch is still on hold by the client, so nothing new to report there. My main focus has been on the  Bear Island project. I finished up the site analysis and now I am working on the illustrative plans for the project. We haven't finalized a design yet, but since Mike thinks this will be a project to submit for an ASLA award I just finished making an illustrative plan for the existing conditions. I haven't done a full illustrative plan at DW up until now so this has been a great learning experience.  I recently got put on a new project for 3 Creek Ranch Clubhouse. It is a country club out in Jackson, WY. That makes it now my third project out in the area. We are once again working with Prospect architects to redo a part of the clubhouse and pool area. Basically all I have done up until this point is create the CAD base for the project. Hopefully

Kaylin Wilson’s Viewport - First Week

Greetings, Houston is lovely. I really am shocked that I like this city as much as I do. I love the area I’m living in. OJB is nice and the workload the first day compared to the second week is night and day. The first day was really nerve wracking and slow, but now it’s fast paced and busy busy. My coworkers took me out to lunch the first week, such angels. I am the only intern, and have decided to make a file for future interns so they won’t go through what I went through. I just think that would be helpful in the future. Doing a lot of work with VectorWorks and LandFX right now. Sometimes I ride the bus to work, but the drive is only 9 minutes away. Making a ton of new friends! Jk, I have no social life but I am staying busy becuase Houston has a ton of stuff going on. Went to a vegan festival last week, and TWO EDM concerts. Saw KSHMR (10/10) performance absolutely a must see, and KASKADE... eh I would give him a 6.8/10.. Shocking I know. I got a few plants for my apartment and o
