So these images basically represent what I’ve been up to the last two weeks. 

First image - Went out for a run and noticed this artwork. There’s one open spot left on the fence that I MIGHT have to cop and paint something.. I will definitely have to order paint though because I don’t have enough.

Image 4 - This is the artwork the college I told you guys about on the other post is interested in... My boss told me they were probably going to lean towards finding their own artist before I presented the art I found. I don’t understand why college campus’ don’t take more risks with their art pieces. Its beautiful don’t get me wrong like stunning but I just don’t know if I would match it with the energy of a college campus. I feel like college students would appreciate something more creative/colorful/unique... Something that stands out a little more? Idk what do I know..

Work is going well thus far though! I have also spent a lot of time researching conspiracy theories on the corona virus.. Have you guys heard of any? Also what do you guys find as your silver lining for working remotely? I have created a lot of graphics this week..Worked on a 50% set by myself.. Learned about some plants.. I also ordered some stuff for my cat because her birthday is coming up but I ordered her a new cat post and a bubble blower so we won’t jump on my desk every hour while I work. I went to the hospital the other day and everyone in the waiting room was wearing a mask. Like 3 of us weren’t but like 14 people were and I was just like...... omg....... but yeah I feel like that’s about it. My internet works now too, bless up.

    I agree, I don't feel like the sculpture they picked has much personality...I would probably pass it and not think anything of it. I can remember almost every sculpture in the LSU Art Quad because they're just so bizarre.

Lately we've been working mostly on a couple of residential projects. One of them is for a local radio guy, which is pretty interesting. Part of the program is going to be an outdoor recording setup, so we need to deal with noise. I also got to put together a short video for the office Instagram of the concept process.   Other than the residential projects, we've also been redecorating the conference room. We're using professional photos taken after some big projects finished up and hanging them to showcase the office's work. We're doing it mostly DIY, and hanging them on these vertical mounts.

Austin Carbo - Design Workshop - Blog #7

Happy May y'all! Not too much has changed since my last post, but there are a few interesting things.  Work:  The project Bosshard Ranch is still on hold by the client, so nothing new to report there. My main focus has been on the  Bear Island project. I finished up the site analysis and now I am working on the illustrative plans for the project. We haven't finalized a design yet, but since Mike thinks this will be a project to submit for an ASLA award I just finished making an illustrative plan for the existing conditions. I haven't done a full illustrative plan at DW up until now so this has been a great learning experience.  I recently got put on a new project for 3 Creek Ranch Clubhouse. It is a country club out in Jackson, WY. That makes it now my third project out in the area. We are once again working with Prospect architects to redo a part of the clubhouse and pool area. Basically all I have done up until this point is create the CAD base for the project. Hopefully

Kaylin Wilson’s Viewport - First Week

Greetings, Houston is lovely. I really am shocked that I like this city as much as I do. I love the area I’m living in. OJB is nice and the workload the first day compared to the second week is night and day. The first day was really nerve wracking and slow, but now it’s fast paced and busy busy. My coworkers took me out to lunch the first week, such angels. I am the only intern, and have decided to make a file for future interns so they won’t go through what I went through. I just think that would be helpful in the future. Doing a lot of work with VectorWorks and LandFX right now. Sometimes I ride the bus to work, but the drive is only 9 minutes away. Making a ton of new friends! Jk, I have no social life but I am staying busy becuase Houston has a ton of stuff going on. Went to a vegan festival last week, and TWO EDM concerts. Saw KSHMR (10/10) performance absolutely a must see, and KASKADE... eh I would give him a 6.8/10.. Shocking I know. I got a few plants for my apartment and o
